Somnos Lunarious, demi-god and tyrant emperor of the ancient Isoli. With his ambition, persuasion, and an ample twist of unspeakable power he forged the tribes of the Isoli into a fearsome nation bent on spreading the rule of their divine sovereign.

Here, he revisits the dreamscape of his youth, a slanted realm of ordered chaos. Mountains burn with fire amidst trees of singing water, the oceans have dissolved to air, the air bursting with scintillating foliage. In his right hand he clasps one of the Nafisah Jala', /his/ Nafisah Jala', and in the left, the pearl of a memory wished to be forgotten. A bargain. The last few moments in the life of Alexandrea Thorn, lover to Ingen Ciar and mother of his child, the last few moments before she was executed by the very same hands that loved her.

All Hail the Nightmare King.
